Tuesday was Cameron and my anniversary and it was a great day. We didn't get to spend much time together because of school things going on. But we did go to the movie Twilight (love it!!!) and we went to cold stone afterwords. Thanks to Andrew and Nicole for watching our kids for us.



Cameron there is no need t0 worry, you are my Edward and always will be. I love you so very much!!!!!!!!!! I was like a giddy little girl falling in love all over again with him.
We were married on December 9, 2005 and it was 9 degrees below zero that morning it was so cold. It was a beautiful day

Happy Thanksgiving everybody. I know it is a little bit late but I am lucky to be doing this at all. We were able to go to Utah for Thanksgiving and enjoyed being with Cameron's family. It was great. We were able to leave the kids with the grandparents and go to the temple. Something that we have not been able to do since I was like 6 months pregnant and since McKenna is two months old, it was past time to go.
While we were in Utah for Thanksgiving we got family pictures taken and i just wanted to share some of them with all of you.















McKenna is two months old today and she weighs over 11 pounds. She has the chunkiest thighs that are so dang cute and she must be going through a growth spurt because she has done nothing but eat and sleep the last two days. But it makes getting her to sleep hard.

Carson is getting harder and harder to please. He had so much attention at grandma and grandpas that I think coming home and having just me all day again is hard for him. But he is just so dang cute and I love him to death.

busy weekend

So this weekend was a busy one. We had Halloween on Friday and blessed McKenna on Sunday. Carson was a Frog (compliments of Bobi) and McKenna was a bunny. They both looked adorable. Carson loved wearing his frog costume around. It was a bit to big so Cameron called him a frog on a diet.
The day of the blessing was a cold one and I was hoping that it would be nice so I could send the kids out to eat outside but it defiantly was not. I get a little worried that things won't work out or we won't have enough food but we had plenty of food and it was just an enjoyable day. McKenna wore the dress that I was blessed in and she was beautiful.
We carved pumpkins earlier in the week and Carson didn't know what to think about that. He doesn't like to get his hands dirty so it was pretty funny trying to get him so put them in the goop.

Hi all

So today is Sunday and Carson had his first "primary" program. I say "primary" because none of the children are older than 2 so it was more like a nursery program. Carson was really cute and he is the kid that everybody laughs at because he leads the music, waves to everybody and blows kisses. Cameron went up with him for the song and I sat there and cried. My little boy is growing up!!
We are putting a couple of videos on. One of McKenna smiling and the other of Carson dancing to my phone. The picture is of Carson and his Cute little butt he must have had a really bad itch because he kept scratching it. It was pretty funny! Sorry it is sideways I don't know how to change it.
I am going to do a little public announcement here because I don't know how to use this blog thing very well I keep calling my sister and asking her what do to but anyways, there are a lot of blogs that i would like to look at and i don't know how so if you look at our blog you should add us or allow us to see yours or how ever it works.

Two weeks have gone by so fast.we are all doing well. Carson is being such a helpful big brother. he knows right where the pacifier goes. The one thing we really miss about Carson was his quiet cry. McKenna does not have it at all. having two kids is a blast, there is so much that we are learning about both kids its just amazing. We are finding out that pots and pans should be sold with ear plugs. Carson's drumming career is moving along quite well. the word Mom is a thing of the past, Carson has moved on to bigger and better names like Danielle, its pretty cute.
we got him to start sleeping on a twin bed he thinks it is the best trampoline in the world. we have been saved from a big expense. we just have to keep up the illusion that it is better than a tramp.

We want to welcome a new addition to our growing family. McKenna Ilene Gurr, she was born on October 3, 2008 at 10:19pm. she weighs 7lbs 15.5oz and is 19 inches long. we would like to report that mother and daughter are doing wonderful.
