Christmas in Island Park-
We had Christmas with Cameron's family this year in island park and it was so fun and relaxing.
We took our tree up with us so that way we didn't have to go without a tree at the cabin. We made a paper chain and snowflakes to go on the tree and LaNona gave us each ornaments to go on the tree.
See the reindeer by the tree Cameron and I made that last year.
When we got to the cabin we were in charge of setting up and getting it warm for the rest of the family. When we were done we went went outside to go and play on the new sled that Santa brought early.
We discovered that Carson loves the snow but McKenna not so much. She didn't want to be put down not even in the sled, even if I was holding her and we weren't even moving. We still had so much FUN though. The boys in the family started to build a snow fort but it ended up being a tunnel. If you look really close you can see Cameron and McKenna through there.
Carson is decorating cookies to put out for Santa, he was in charge of putting the sprinkles on after grandma frosted it. Look how hard he is concentrating. He is so cute!
Here the kids are opening their Christmas eve pjs. Can you tell which is Carson and which is McKenna? (McKenna is the one with the longer blond hair.)
Carson got Buzz Lightyear Pjs. So handsome!
McKenna got her first nightgown. This is her Christmas morning, we didn't get any good pictures the night before. She got a stroller and a doll from Santa Claus.
We didn't get many pictures of the rest of the morning. My big gift from Cameron was a sewing machine. (Bobi I am going to need your help) Cameron got a pair of carhart (sp) coveralls to wear for work to keep him warm. We had so much fun while we were there. I didn't want to come home. Before we left we got a family picture outside on the deck. Isn't is beautiful?! This is only part of the view we have of the river from the cabin.
They made shirts for the whole family that says Gurr 2010. Weird, 2010 already!
Goofy picture!
Here are the kids with Grandma Gurr.
I hope everyone had as beautiful of a Christmas as we did. I am so grateful for my Savior for all he did for me and still continues to do . I love my family and I am excited to see how this next year with be for us.

Can I just brag for a minute?
Well the semester is done and I could not be happier about it. I love going to school and learning but I don't love the added stress if puts on my family. My poor house has been neglected terribly and today I swept AND mopped the floors....even the bathroom floors. I cleaned the bathrooms a few days ago and I don't even want to think about how long it had been since I had. But that is not what I am bragging about.
I took 6 classes this semester, two of them block classes so five each block. Well my final grades are as follows......
Literacy practicum- A
Career explorations (I needed one more credit) A
Toddler Lab A
Social Studies methods A
Science methods B+
Math methods B
That is what I am BRAGGING about!
Thanks to my family and friends who gave me words of encouragement through out the semester. I couldn't have done it without you.
Also to my wonderful hubby so supports me in my desire to graduate college. Thanks Cameron!
I will go to school these next two semesters and then student teach in the fall and graduate in December. I am going to have a huge party to celebrate this momentous occasion. By the time I graduate I will have been in school for 6 and 1/2 YEARS! I could almost be a doctor:)
Sorry there are no pictures I will update about everything that has gone on in the last few months after Christmas.
I love you all and have a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!
